Dan and Mike were apartment building-mates, then roommates, back in the day in Durham. They have been through a lot (of fishing, mostly) together, and have may or may not have accidently started, and put out, a boat fire or two in their time as amateur mechanics.

When Marija moved to the U.S. for college, she worried about making lifelong friends. That changed when she met Aubrey during a pre-college program, and an incredible friendship was born. Their bond is filled with obnoxiously silly moments, belly-aching laughter, and unwavering support through life’s ups and downs. Like a sunflower, Aubrey has a way of making everything seem brighter just by being there—making her an irreplaceable part of this special day.

Josh is Mike's crazy (in a good way) cousin, who travels the world doing environmental work. He has stories from living with tribes in Africa, living isolated in the Amazon rain forest, working at remote gold mines, and the list goes on. Mike has always looked up to him. Even though he once bit Mike's hand as a kid for trying to wake him up too early.
