We're going for semi-formal type wear. For the fellas: Slacks or nice trousers with button-down shirt or polo. A sports coat or blazer is welcome, but not required. For the ladies: A nice dress, jumpsuit, or something you'd wear to a classy dinner or holiday party. No need to go full black tie-just feel good and look put-together! Basically: Wear something you feel confident and celebratory in. We're here to party, not to police your outfit.
The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM sharp, so we kindly ask that guests arrive around 3:40-3:45 PM to allow time to park, get settled, and find a seat. Seating is open, but please leave the first two rows reserved for our immediate families. There's no formal seating chart-just bring your lovely self and pick a spot that feels right!
Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Nazareth Hall. The ceremony is planned for the Grotto, a beautiful outdoor space-weather permitting, of course. If it's too cold or rainy, we'll move things indoor to Ladyglen Hall. The reception and dinner will be held in Ladyglen Hall either way, so no need to worry about driving between venues. One spot, one part, all the fun.
In true Ohio fashion, it's a bit of a wild card. Early November can bring sunshine, rain, or a chill in the air. We're expecting highs around 60°F and lows near 45°F. The ceremony is planned for the Grotto (outdoors), but if its too cold or rainy, we'll move indoors to Ladyglen Hall. Either way, we recommend dressing warmly just in case-layers, closed-toe shoes, and cozy wraps or jackets are all fair game!
We love your little ones- but for our big day, we're keeping things mostly kid-free. Our nieces and nephews will be joining us for the ceremony and celebration, but we kindly ask that all other children stay home. Think of it as a well-earned grown-up night out- with great food, dancing, and an open bar. You deserve it!
Please let us know if you'll be joining us by September 1st. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
Yes-Nazareth Hall has free on-site parking for all guests. If the ceremony is held at the Grotto (outdoors), there will be a short walk or shuttle ride from the parking lot. If the ceremony is moved indoors to Ladyglen Hall, it's just a quick walk from your car to the ceremony and reception space. There will be signage and staff to guide you, so no worries!
Yes! We've reserved hotel blocks for your convenience. You can find all the details-including links and discount info- in the "Travel" section of our wedding website.
The closest major airport to the venue in Grand Rapids, OH is Toledo Express Airport (TOL)-just about 14 miles away, making for a quick 20-minute drive. That's your best bet for most commercial flights. If you're looking for more options, Detroit Metropolitan (DTW) is about 72 miles north, and Cleveland Hopkins (CLE) is roughly 120 miles east- great alternative if flights to Toledo are limited.
We'll be celebrating with an open bar-cheers to that! The bar will close 30 minutes before the end of the reception, around 9:00 PM, so make sure to grab your last drink and hit the dance floor while it's still flowing.
