Playa Norte
North beach was voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world for a reason. It is located downtown. The water is perfection and you can also snorkel off the shore by MIA reef to see some tropical fish. Make sure to catch a sunset here!
MUSA
We've gone snorkeling and diving here and it is amazing to see. If you have time on your trip and would like dive shop recommendations let us know!
Punta Sur
This is where we got engaged! Its a $5 entry fee into the park and a 15 minute cab ride from downtown. Would definitely recommend going for sunset or sunrise.
Beach Clubs
Kin Ha - Located on the south side of the island. This is a hotel, restaurant, and bar with ocean access. They have multiple pools, paddle boards, kayaks, and a rope swing - all free as long as you're eating or drinking. Mayan Beach Club - We go here all the time and rent chairs. The food and drinks are great for lunch. Green demon - Day beach party on weekends with DJ, great food and drinks. This is right next door to the wedding venue.

Hidalgo Street
This is the main street on the island for restaurants, bars, shopping, and live entertainment. It is walking distance from wherever you are staying downtown.
