THIS IS A MUST ACTIVITY if you are visiting Rivera Maya!! Visit the ruins and cenotes is a very rich cultural experience and it will unforgettable. You can always find plenty of options online via Booking.com or Airbnb for tours to visit Chichen Itza and your chosen cenotes! We recommend booking a private tour as the big tours usually stop at several resorts to pick up passengers which will reduce your time at the ruins, cenotes and Valladolid. Alternatively, you can rent a car or take public transport. For private transport Anselmo from Private Transportation Rivera Maya has great reviews. You can check their IG account and Google reviews, his company is going to pick us up from the airport and includes a complementary kid seat. E: anselmo@privatetransportationriveramaya.com
We recommend the Xcaret parks! These are great for families and couples only. Some of them have great water activities for adults and other ones are more focus on children. Bundle tickets are available, if visiting more than one park there are discounts available. We commend to bring water shoes. The parks are spread across Cancun and Tulum area, please check the location of your preferred park(s) because that will mandate at what time you should visit it (from early in the morning or afternoon). Xcaret offers packages that include food and beverage options, as well as transportation. How to choose the best Xcaret park for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2KgAFmLru4
The main street of Playa del Carment, full of restaurants and shops. It is located near by the Paradisus resort. The hotel can sort out transportation for you.
Isla Mujeres is a sun-kissed Caribbean gem where powder-white sand meets unreal shades of turquoise and life instantly slows to island time. In just one day you can snorkel with tropical fish, wander colourful streets, sip margaritas by the sea, and watch the sunset melt into the horizon. It’s effortlessly romantic, blissfully relaxed, and the kind of place that makes you say, “We should’ve stayed longer.” To visit you will need to take a ferry or a catamaran, day trips are available online: https://www.ultramarferry.com/en. You can also book transportation/taxi to the port and buy a ferry ticket at the port. Many ferries depart daily: https://www.ultramarferry.com/en. We did this last year and it was super easy. Ubers are also available in the area. Xcaret also offers a catamaran and transportation to the island if you want to travel in luxury: https://www.xcaret.com/en/parks-and-tours/about-xailing/?utm_source=webgains&wgc=63751&wgp=5376&msclkid=36faaac4b6761095a08bc3bd9b3f5a8d
