Can I bring a plus one with me?

Answer

No, we’re only having a certain amount of people and will sadly be asked to leave if anyone shows up unannounced or uninvited.

What is the dress code?

Answer

No white clothing, denim or T-Shirts please. Light colors & fabrics for our daytime event. You'll be walking across a lawn so avoid heels that could get stuck in the grass. For the men, a nice shirt and nice pair of shorts is perfect. Semiformal gives you flexibility & comfort, but not too casual.

Do I need to pay for anything while I'm there?

Answer

Yes, alcohol beverages are extra. We have a set menu and all guests eat free.

What food will be there?

Answer

A mix of seafood and bar food. Buffet style - Oysters, Pretzels with Beer Cheese, Cheese and Fruit Platter, Fish Tacos, Beef Tacos, Cheeseburger Sliders and Wedding Cake for Dessert.

What will the weather be like?

HOT! July is the hottest month out of the entire year here in Virginia! (I googled it)

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside. The food buffet will be inside where the reception is taking place. But, the tables to sit down and eat dinner will be outside. After everyone's finished eating, we'll move inside for the majority of the night.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony we will all get together and take photos of everyone. After that all the guests will head to the restaurant where the reception and dinner will take place while the bride and groom have a photoshoot together just them.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP to Courtney “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The wedding starts at 4:30 p.m. sharp! I need everyone to be in their seats by 4:00 p.m. sharp!

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP?

Answer

Deadline is July 1st, 2021! If you do not RSVP by then, we will have to assume you can't make it. You will need to text my cousin Courtney to let her know if you will be joining us or not. Her number is on your invitation. Please text her with your name and your answer.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, but ONLY after the bride and groom have posted their pictures first! Nothing before then!
