Train
If you're coming from almost anywhere on the East Coast, we'd recommend considering an Amtrak train over a flight. It's almost always significantly less cost, and the time is usually about the same, at least from DC to Ridgefield. If you take an Amtrak, the closest station to Ridgefield is Stamford (about a 40 minute drive from Ridgefield). For comparison, the drive from DC to Ridgefield is just under six hours.
Flight
For our friends traveling in from out of state, we recommend flying into Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Hartford, CT. Your next-closest options are Westchester County Airport (HPN) in Westchester, NY, or the NYC airports. If you are coming from the East Coast, we'd recommend taking the train instead - it's a lot less hassle!

Travel Note
Looking for an excuse to hang out in New York? Ridgefield is just across the state line, and it's about a 90 minute drive between Ridgefield and NYC. If you'd like to visit the city before or after our wedding weekend, we'd suggest you fly into Newark, LaGaurdia or JFK, and rent a car to head our way when the 5th rolls around.
