In Norwegian weddings, there's always a Master of Ceremonies of sorts - we call them the Toastmaster - and this person is responsible for introducing all speeches. Our Toastmaster is Anders Skjærholt, and you can email him at anders.skjaerholt@gmail.com
We don't really have a dress code, but it's probably best to aim for something less fancy than a tuxedo but a step up from shorts and a t-shirt. The weather can be unpredictable and the evening could get chilly, so we'd advise everyone to bring a warm sweater in case you feel like hanging outside after dark.
We'll be serving a buffet of different dishes which we hope the Norwegian guests will help us prepare. If you feel like you can contribute something, please let us know in the RSVP section. We will provide plenty of beer and non-alcoholic beverages, but if you prefer wine or liquor/spirits, please bring this along with you.
The gift of your company and/or your help with food is more than enough! However, if you want to get us something, here are a few suggestions: - contribution to honeymoon in Portugal - anything from House of Rym (https://www.butikkenrost.no/house-of-rym?size=48) - balcony-friendly items -blender - gift certificates
Hopefully the weather won't be that bad! In July it can get pretty warm. But you should probably pack a little bit of everything, meaning jeans and sweaters as well as shorts and t-shirts and other summer appropriate garments. And we could risk rain, so be prepared for that, too.
