For those of you who want the true Mexico City experience, we recommend booking an Airbnb anywhere in the Condesa or Roma neighborhoods. Both neighborhoods are filled with beautiful architecture, and you'll be in walking distance to parks, retail, restaurants, bars, and cafes. A link with the suggested map area has been provided, but please reach out if you have questions or concerns.
Flight
We recommend booking flights as soon as you can. Several major airlines fly into Mexico City. Volaris will likely offer the best value (it's the Frontier of Mexico), and AeroMéxico will best get Mexican vibes rolling, but choose whatever airline is your favorite.
Travel Note
General Transportation: Transportation in Mexico City is like most major cities. If you have Uber or Lyft, you'll be able to use the app and book rides anywhere in or outside of the city. Rideshare apps are significantly cheaper in Mexico and equally safe. We would not recommend taking taxis unless you have traveled to the City before and are very comfortable with your Spanish. In addition, you can arrange a car or shuttle to pick you up and drop you off from your hotel or at other locations around the city. Please contact the hotel directly for this service. If you are staying in Condesa or Roma, you will be in walking distance to several activities, including retail, bars, cafes, and museums. Airport: The airport is about a 30-40 minute drive from Condesa or Roma, the neighborhoods where we recommend you stay. You can either uber/lyft to your hotel or arrange a car or shuttle service with the hotel. Wedding Venue: The wedding venue (Casa de Bola) is about a 10-15 minute from the Andaz hotel (the main hotel). It technically is walkable, but we don't recommend it, as it will take 30-40 minutes. We will provide transportation options and details in the future.
