One of the best jazz clubs in the world, with very cheap cover charges. Make sure you get a reservation.

Museum of Tequila and Mezcal

This is definitely worth the tour, even if it is on the gimmicky side.

Frida Kahlo Museum

A lovely house museum celebrating Frida Khalo. Worth the visit.

Piramides Teotihuacan

For the more adventurous, these are prehistoric pyramid ruins just outside Mexico City. This is a half-day activity that will require special transportation, but one of my favorite spots.

Coyoacán

A great neighborhood in Mexico City, filled with beautiful cathedrals, cobble stone streets, and colonial architecture.

Plaza Garibaldi

This is a trip, all the way in centro, but if you want the full Mariachi experience, food, culture, atmosphere, and all, this is worth it.

Pujol

One of the best restaurants in the world. You read that right. The world. You'll want to book this ASAP to get a spot.

Quintonil

Another amazing fine-dining restaurant, Michelin stars and all, and much easier to get into than Pujol.
