To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. That being said, the deadline is Jan 1 2026. If we do not receive your RSVP by this date, we will unfortunately miss you but will have to mark you as “no” and cannot make exceptions.
Due to the venues capacity, we can only accommodate guests that are formally invited. If you’ve received a plus one your guests name will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
We love your little ones but for our rehearsal and wedding day, we’re keeping it adults only. Take this as your excuse for a kid-free getaway in beautiful Costa Rica!
Costa Rica is warm and tropical, so we suggest lightweight, breathable fabrics. The wedding will be outdoors, so think resort chic, comfortable but elevated. Leave the heels at home; flats or wedges are your friends!
Please arrive to the venue 30 minutes before the ceremony. Our ceremony will start promptly at 4pm. If you arrive after the start time you will not be able to enter until the start of the cocktail hour.
No! Depending on where you stay, you’ll likely be within walking distance of the venue, beaches, and most restaurants. We’ll also have shuttles available on the day of the wedding to make things even easier. Just a heads-up: there is no Uber or other rideshare services in Montezuma, so local taxis or rentals are your best bet for getting around if you're not on foot. When we stayed in Montezuma, we got around mostly by ATV and we highly recommend it! It’s a fun and easy way to explore the area, and there are even 4-seater options available if you're traveling with a group.
Yes! Montezuma has no reliable ATM, so plan on bringing some cash or taking some out at the airport. USD or Colons.
Yes! Sunscreen is very overpriced in Costa Rica, so bring your own to save some money.
You can expect warm, sunny days with average highs around 83°F (28°C) and lows near 65°F (18°C).
There are two major airports in Costa Rica: San José (SJO) and Liberia (LIR). We recommend flying into San José, as there are more convenient travel options to get to Montezuma from there. That said, if you find a better deal flying into Liberia, don’t worry there are shuttle and flight options from that airport too that are totally doable!
Both are accepted! You can use U.S. dollars at most places, but you'll often get change back in Costa Rican colones. Credit cards are also widely accepted just let your bank know you’re traveling.
Yes, you'll need a valid passport to enter Costa Rica.
