For out of town guests, we’d be so grateful if you could RSVP at your earliest convenience, but no later than March 19, 2026. For local (Tofino & Ukee) guests, please RSVP by May 1, 2026. Cabins at Mackenzie Beach Resort are reserved for our guests up until March 19th. After that, bookings open to the public, so we recommend booking before then.
Think formal beachy cocktail attire. We’ve shared a color theme in the ‘Gallery’ section of this website for reference, and of course, no white. The ceremony will be on the sand and the reception on grass, so we recommend skipping the stilettos and go for flats, wedges, or block heels. Please note that Tofino's weather can be extremely unpredictable (could be raining sideways or full sunshine). The reception tent will have heaters, but a light layer for the ceremony will keep you cozy all evening. We plan to keep the ceremony outside regardless of weather - it's the Tofino spirit, after all!
Your presence is the greatest gift of all. It is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that all our loved ones will come together to celebrate our love. If you'd like to give in another way, we are saving up for our dream house for our future family to grow in to. Contributions can be made by cheque, cash, or via etransfer. More information is on the ‘Registry’ tab of this website.
We ask that you join us on the beach, just outside the cabins at the resort 20 minutes prior to the ceremony start time.
We love that Tofino is a family-friendly destination, and of course you’re welcome to bring your children to enjoy the beautiful location with you. For the ceremony and reception, however, we’re keeping the celebration for guests aged 10 and older to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone.
We’ve carefully addressed each invitation with all plus-ones already included. Only the guests whose names are on the invitations are invited to keep our celebration intimate and meaningful. We hope you understand and are excited to celebrate with us!
While we love animals, we aren’t able to accommodate pets at the ceremony or reception. We hope you can still celebrate with us and enjoy Tofino’s beautiful surroundings with your furry friends before or after the wedding day!
Absolutely! There’s a question about dietary restrictions in the RSVP—please let us know your needs there.
To make the weekend seamless, we require all out-of-town guests and the bridal party to stay at Mackenzie Beach Resort. More information is available on the 'Travel + Accommodation' tab. Local folks, please ensure a safe ride home after the reception. **Accommodations must be booked before March 19, 2026. When you book, they will take a deposit of the first night's stay - the rest will be due upon arrival.
Those required at the rehearsal the evening before (bridal party and immediate family) will be informed. We’d love to spend time with everyone throughout the weekend on the property and make the most of this special time together!
The resort requires a 2-night minimum stay. If you’d like to stay just one night and are willing to book both nights, please reach out to us - we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Rain is part of the Tofino experience, and we embrace it as part of the adventure! The ceremony is short, and the reception will be in a heated, covered tent, so you’ll stay cozy no matter what. If it’s raining more heavily, we’ll have clear umbrellas available so you can still enjoy the beach setting without getting wet. Think of it as part of the charm of a Tofino wedding!
For everyone’s ease, the ceremony, reception, and accommodations are all located at Mackenzie Beach Resort, so everything is in one place and no travel between locations is needed.
Unless you are a part of the bridal party (Maid of Honour, Bridesmaid, Best Man, Groomsmen), you do not need to stay at Mackenzie Beach Resort. If this is the case, please arrange a safe drive home after the reception.
