We're Getting Married!

The story begins on February 27, 2019. John and Maria were both attending SIUE. One Wednesday night, Maria's college roommates decided to take her to karaoke night at the local bar, Corner Tav. Maria's roommates knew John and his friends, so they introduced the two and they hit it off immediately. John confidently sang, "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", which instantly whooed Maria. A few months later on April 17, 2019, John asked Maria to be his girlfriend! After they both graduated, they moved into their first home together. One year later, they got their dachshund Roo baby, who is the pride and joy of their lives. On June 14, 2024 with a beautiful setup in front of the Mississippi River, John proposed to Maria and of course it was a YES! Now the two reside in Glen Carbon, Illinois. Maria is working as the Director of Business Development & Marketing for Egyptian Workspace Partners and John is a Procurement Agent for Boeing. By the time they get married, the two will have been together for 6 years. They simply cannot wait to see what their future holds and to celebrate with their favorite people on their wedding day! 🤍
