We're Getting Married!

Our story started in October of 2020, deep into the COVID-19 lockdown. While Titus was confined to his dormitory at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, Mariah was establishing her career and settling into her first apartment in the heart of Washington, DC. As luck would have it, both Titus and Mariah happened to be on Hinge at the same time. Neither of them realized then that the person each had matched with would go on to be their soulmate! Shortly after matching, Titus and Mariah went on their first date at the well-renowned one-star Michelin restaurant, Olive Garden. Though their taste in food was questionable, it was obvious that they had a great taste in people, as their chemistry on this date was unmatched! Following their dinner, they continued their date by listening to music, people-watching, and laughing together in the parking lot well into the evening. Despite their amazing date, the two struggled to meet again due to complications of the pandemic and Mariah's demanding career pivot. Titus, however, continued to maintain contact throughout the following months, keeping the spark between the two of them alive and well. In May of 2021, Titus was set to graduate from the Naval Academy and report to Charleston, SC for Nuclear Power School, and the window for a second date was rapidly coming to a close. Mariah, however, decided to coordinate a goodbye dinner for Titus in order to send him off to his first duty station. What was intended to be a friendly goodbye became a full-on dinner date (at a much better restaurant) that reignited the connection that the two shared. Since then, the two have been inseparable, surmounting life's challenges as a team and achieving personal milestones with one another there as support. They're grateful that they're able to meet another milestone, and are excited to share this special moment with each of you as well!
