Coffee Lab & Roasters
We love this coffee shop - it's definitely our most visited spot. You can't go wrong with any of their seasonal lattes!
Bombastic Cafe
Another one of our go-to coffee spots. Super friendly staff and their lattes are creative + tasty. Stop by here before grabbing a bagel across the street at Steingold's.
Steingold's of Chicago
Fantastic Jewish deli that is a must for breakfast or lunch! It can be a little bit of a wait if you stop by mid-morning, so order online ahead of time if you're in a hurry.
Schubas Tavern / Tied House
A great local hang! Both the bar and restaurant have good bites but the atmosphere is what makes it special. On the weekend it's probably best to make a reservation at Tied House as it can get busy or you can find a seat at the bar. They also have patio seating if it's nice outside. Or you can just pop into Schubas for a cold one.
Coda di Volpe
One of our go-to date night spots in the neighborhood. We always find a spot at the bar to eat, or you can make reservation online for a group. Check out their seasonal pasta!
Guthries Tavern
Neighborhood watering hole with lots of board games & microbrews in a cozy, laid-back setting. You can order takeout to the bar or bring your own food in.
Lakefront Trail
10/10 would recommend taking a walk down the lake path. You'll see some of the best views of the Chicago skyline!
Unabridged Bookstore
Our favorite bookstore to visit. Word of caution, it's easy to get caught up for hours poring over the shelves in this cozy bookstore.
Music Box Theatre
A century old theater that shows art-house films as well as mainstream blockbusters. A must visit for casual movie fans and cinephiles alike!
Maplewood Brewery & Distillery
Cozy brewery tucked around the corner from our venue, if you're looking to kill some time before the ceremony and enjoy a cold beverage.
