Q+A

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

It is a holiday weekend, but it's still a Friday so prepare for rush hour traffic when making plans to arrive at the ceremony. We recommend trying to arrive a half hour before it begins (5:30PM).

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

Although we love you and your children, our wedding ceremony and reception will be child free.

Question

Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?

Answer

All invited guests' names will be listed on your formal invitation.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire: Formal wedding attire sits between cocktail and black tie. It's slightly more elevated than cocktail attire and a touch less dressy than a black-tie nuptial.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony & reception?

Answer

Yes! A parking lot is conveniently located on the east side of the building at Diversey & Maplewood.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will not be any shuttles provided to/from the recommended hotels to the venue. However, there are tons of options for transportation! By car, it's 1 block east of the I-90/94 Diversey exit. If you are staying at one of the recommended hotels, it's a quick Lyft/Uber ride. By public transit: - The Logan Square blue line station is a 12 minute walk - The #76 Diversey bus stops in front of the building at Diversey/Rockwell - The #49 Western bus stops 3 blocks east at Western/Diversey

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! But we still recommend bringing cash to show your appreciation to the hardworking bartenders :)
