Both Jens and Mariah have seen their share of relationships, some short and casual, some serious and long term. As each relationship ran its course they left a wake of lessons learned and as well new clarity as to what they truly desired in a relationship and what they were looking for in a partner. Both Jens and Mariah had only recently reentered the dating world when their paths crossed. Not willing to commit anymore time or energy to something that did not align with what they both knew they wanted and deserved in a relationship they put each other through the ringer. They talked about everything that could possibly come to mind. Long and short term goals, music, kids, food, finances, no topic was off the table. They knew what they wanted, and it did not take long to realize that was each other. The level of trust, understanding, patience, and love that has grown between them in their time together reaches a level neither truly understood was possible.
