We're getting married!

Every great love story starts somewhere, and ours began with a swipe that turned into forever. From college days to building a home, from holding hands for the first time to saying ‘yes’ to forever, our journey has been filled with laughter, growth, and love. Now, we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. 2020 was a year full of challenges, yet it was also the year our greatest blessing began. A simple swipe right turned into the beginning of something unimaginable. I was a sophomore in college, Jacob was just starting his freshman year, and fate brought us together. After matching on a dating app, we decided to meet for a quiet night in—socially distanced, but with hearts already drawing closer. It was simply unforgettable in the best ways. Within moments, something unspoken passed between us, a connection that felt timeless. It felt as if we had known each other forever. For the first time, I felt completely at ease with someone I had just met, and when Jacob gently asked, “May I hold your hand?” I knew my heart was safe with him. On October 7th, 2020, Jacob asked me to be his girlfriend, and while part of me wondered if something this good could be real, our love only deepened with every passing day. Together, we navigated the highs and lows of college life. We leaned on one another, celebrated victories, and grew stronger in the moments of struggle. Always side by side, and always rooting for one another. In 2024, we reached an incredible milestone together: graduating college hand in hand, each with our own degrees but united in our dreams for the future. Soon after, we began a new chapter by moving in together, trading dorm room walls and weekends apart for a shared two-story home filled with laughter, late-night talks, and love (with a little bit of chaos). The shift from crowded dorm life to building a home together was a big one, but what mattered most was the foundation we had already built—a foundation of trust, respect, and joy. Then came May 31st of 2025, a day we will never forget. Surrounded by our closest family and friends, Jacob got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. His proposal was as fun, chaotic, and perfectly us as it could possibly be, and in that moment, our future felt brighter than ever. Today, our little family continues to grow—even if our fur babies outnumber the humans for now—and we look forward to all that lies ahead. This next chapter is one we cannot wait to share with the people who have loved and supported us along the way. We are so excited to celebrate the beginning of our forever with you!
