FAQs

The Wedding Website of Maria Lupita Ureño and Nima Hosseini
A quick guide with answers to the most common questions about our wedding — from dress code and RSVP details to travel, timing, and what to expect.
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire in romantic tones of burgundy, red wine, maroon, crimson, and ruby red. You may also wear different shades of red, or wear pale grays, gold, champagne or silver, while still avoiding white, neon, and black (except tuxedos).

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

No — this is an adult-only celebration. Invitations are only extended to those listed due to limited capacity.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We truly wish we could invite everyone, but due to strict capacity limits, only the names listed on your invitation are included. Thank you so much for understanding and helping us keep this intimate.

Question

What are some things to do in Rocky Point?

Answer

Try our favorite restaurants, stroll the Malecón (downtown area) for street food, shopping, and lively bars, or simply enjoy the beach with mangos, fresh fruit, piña coladas, and breathtaking sunsets.

Question

How should I stay warm?

Answer

Since our wedding is in December, evenings by the ocean will be chilly. We’ll have heaters and hot drinks to keep everyone cozy, but we also recommend wearing formal coats, elegant furs, shawls, or wraps so you can stay warm while still looking stylish.

Question

Are tuxedos required?

Answer

Tuxedos are not required, but we’d absolutely love it if you choose to wear one.

Question

Is the ceremony, dinner, and party indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything will be outdoors, right on the sand by the ocean — from the ceremony to dinner and dancing under the stars. We’ll have heaters to keep everyone cozy, but please dress warmly with formal coats, furs, or shawls to stay comfortable. It’s the perfect setting to enjoy the sea breeze and the golden-hour sky
