Flight
We recommend flying into either Brussels Airport (BRU) or Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL). Brussels Airport (BRU) is the primary international airport and is located about 30 minutes by car from La Hulpe. From the airport, you may take a taxi or Uber to your accommodation, or take the train into Brussels Central Station, then continue to La Hulpe by train and a short taxi ride. Charleroi Airport (CRL) is a secondary airport located approximately one hour from La Hulpe, often serving low-cost airlines. Taxis and shuttle services are available from the airport, though options may be more limited than from BRU. Whichever airport you choose, we recommend arranging onward travel in advance for a smooth and comfortable journey.
Rental Car
For guests who wish to explore more of Belgium or prefer additional flexibility, rental cars are available at both Brussels Airport (BRU) and Charleroi Airport (CRL). Parking is available at most hotels and major attractions, but please keep in mind that driving in central Brussels can be busy and may require a bit of patience.
Travel Note
To make your experience as seamless and relaxing as possible, we recommend staying near the venue in the charming La Hulpe area. Both suggestions below offer comfort, natural beauty and easy access to the Chateau. Please feel free to book early, as summer weekends in this region are popular.
Hotel
Our main hotel! A modern hotel nestled in the Sonian Forest, just minutes away from the Chateau. We have reserved a limited hotel room block for our guests at the venue. To secure your room, please message us and we can send you the link!
Hotel
A romantic lakeside hotel located a short drive away from the venue.
Travel Note
To make the day as smooth as possible, we are looking into possible shuttle arrangements for guests staying at the main hotel. We will share updates once plans are confirmed. Guests staying outside of the main recommended hotel (Dolce by Wyndham), including those in central Brussels or other areas around La Hulpe, will kindly need to arrange their own transport.
