Katie is Maria's little sister, though often confused as the protective older sister. With only a 3 year difference, Katie and Maria were inseparable as little girls. Katie was just as good of friends with Maria's friends growing up which meant many summers spent side by side running around the neighborhood. They shared a room their whole life, spent many hours reorganizing their room to their mom's surprise, and share countless adventures together in North Carolina. If you look at Maria's phone log- Katie is the name that pops up the most. Though they are separated by distance now, Katie makes sure Maria is always kept up on all things Tobias, Arya, and Agnes with a weekly facetime. It is such a blessing to have a sister and Katie is exceptional in her role to Maria. Maria couldn't imagine having anyone else as her maid of honor and is priveleged to have Katie stand by her on the wedding day, as she has already stood by Maria her whole life.

Hanna invited Maria to attend an event at their teacher's house back in 4th grade! At just 9 years old, Hanna and Maria became inseparable. A trip to Williamsburg in 5th grade was the first of many school trips and memories that Maria forever shares with Hanna. The reason Maria played violin was simply because she was accidentally placed in orchestra class, but since Hanna was in it, she stayed. In high school, Maria and Hanna shared various classes and sat next to each other through it all. Sleepovers were common with these two and summers galore. Maria attributes some of her best memories to the "kickball" summers they shared. Each day was filled with climbing trees, running around with chickens, and coming up with new games based off the latest dystopian novel they were enthralled by. They went their separate ways for college but anytime they get together, they pick up where they left off. Maria is honored to have Hanna stand by her side on this big day. She always dreamed of her childhood best friend sharing this day with her and is in awe that they are finally here!

Liz met Maria the first day of college at the University of Dallas. From that moment they became instant friends. Both of them had come to Texas without knowing a single soul there, but God brought them together. They became suitemates their second year of college and were inseparable. These two peas in a pod grew up on opposite ends of the country but found so much in common. Liz was a calming presence in Maria's life and encouraged her to burst out of her bubble. During their time traveling in Rome together, a friend prompted them to say something nice about the people beside us. Maria turned to Liz and said, "You encourage me to do things I wouldn't normally do and for that I am thankful." Liz quipped back, "I was going to say the same thing!" These two encouraged each other to adventure beyond their comfort levels which created many memories that could last a lifetime. Liz now lives in Salem, Oregon but these two steadfast friends take turns each year making a trip to see each other. They are excited to reunite in Europe in 2025 for Maria's wedding where Liz will stand by her side!

Maria is happy to have Marta, José’s sister and a valued bridesmaid in her wedding party. Marta's presence is particularly special, as her relationship with José brings a unique and heartfelt dimension to the celebration. Her kindness and enthusiasm have made her a cherished part of this special occasion. Maria and Marta’s journey together began during a festive Christmas in Spain, where they first met and started to get to know each other. During the Christmas season, Marta and Maria shared bunk beds as Maria once did with her own sister. One of Maria’s fondest memories with Marta is playing a long game of scrabble, in Spanish. Maria miraculously placed in second with her limited knowledge of Spanish. Maria is excited to celebrate with Marta and looks forward to deepening their relationship as sister in laws!

José's littlest sister, Kitty, will be standing by Maria's side on her wedding day. From the moment Maria met Kitty during Christmas in Spain, they formed a special bond that has only grown stronger. Whether it's sharing phrases in each other's languages, enjoying an aperitivo together, or wandering through the shops of Majadahonda, their time together has been filled with laughter and connection. Kitty’s presence in both Maria and José's lives means so much. Maria is incredibly grateful for the love and support that Kitty has shown, and she can't wait to celebrate this special day with Kitty by her side. There are so many memories that are already cherished between Kitty and Maria, and there are many more to come!

Rafa es el hermano pequeño de Jose. Aunque no lo parezca mucho ahora, José le saca 5 años a Rafa. Ambos siempre han compartido litera, incluso ahora cuando José viene de visita a casa cada Navidad. Aunque eso supuso alguna pelea de vez en cuando, vivir tan juntos ha supuesto que haya una unión imposible de romper. Ambos hermanos son muy competitivos y les encanta picarse uno al otro en cualquier deporte que se les enfrente. De pequeńo José aprovechaba la ventaja de la edad, pero ahora Rafa ha puesto en su sitio a su hermano, aunque le duela reconocerlo. José no tuvo ninguna duda de que Rafa tenía que ser su “Best man” y esta muy orgulloso y emocionado de que este a su lado en el día de su boda.

Cube y José se conocen desde primaria, aunque ambos estaban en clases clases diferentes, Jose en el A y Cube en el B. La “rivalidad” entre clases hizo que su amistad no empezara hasta la ESO, cuando las dos clases se entremezclaron y Cube y José se sentaron el la misma zona por la cercanía de apellidos. Desde ahi empezó una amistad que perdura hasta hoy. Ambos fueron juntos al mismo instituto y decidieron estudiar la misma carrera. La cantidad de experiencias que tienen juntos es incontable. A pesar de la distancia de ahora, cada vez que José vuelve a Majadahonda llama a Cube y se vuelven a ver como si el tiempo no hubiera pasado. Para José es un honor y una alegría enorme contar con Cube como testigo para su boda.

Pablo y José se conocieron cuando Jose se cambio al Instituto Margarita Salas con 16 años. Desde el principio José se dió cuenta de que Pablo era una persona diferente. Su alegría y energía son contagiosas y José las captó enseguida. Al igual que Cube y José, Pablo también estudió la carrera de Teleco. Pablo y José compartieron muchos proyectos, laboratorios y prácticas, lo que dio lugar a mucho tiempo para organizar viajes y a que Pablo introdujera a José al mundo nerd (o al menos un poco más de lo que ya estaba). Antes de que José se fuera a EEUU, Pablo le introdujo al mundo de los viajes de montańa contándole sus aventuras por Noruega e Islandia, cosa que quedó marcado en José y que le inspiró en su aventura americana. José esta muy emocionado de tener a Pablo a su lado para este día tan especial.

Manu y José se conocieron en la universidad cuando Manu vino a Madrid desde Alicante a hacer con la idea de hacer el máster de Teleco y quedarse unos años a trabajar. Todo cambió cuando después de un examen Manu y José empezaron a charlar sobre el futuro, ya que es muy común que el segundo año del master se haga en el extranjero. José le dió a conocer la opción de ir a Chicago a terminar el master, lo que hizo que Manu cambiara de opinión acerca de su futuro. A falta de un día para la fecha limite de entrega de inscripción para Chicago, Manu le pidió a Jose su aplicación, la cual cambio el nombre y entregó. Así empezó la aventura americana, donde compartieron piso en Chicago y multitud de recuerdos inolvidables, desde los primeros viajes a parques naturales, a las charlas intensas en caminatas de vuelta a casa. Manu fue para José como un hermano y José está muy feliz de tener a Manu de testigo en el día de su boda.

Juanlu y José se conocieron trabajando para la misma empresa en Houston. Ambos estudiaron en Chicago, pero en años diferentes, por lo que no coincidieron en la ciudad. Al empezar el nuevo trabajo, Juanlu escribió a José por LinkedIn para pedirle su opinión acerca de la empresa. Trabajaron juntos a distancia a causa del COVID durante un tiempo hasta que José se cambió de empresa y se mudó a Dallas. Aún así se mantuvieron en contacto y, cosas de la vida, Juanlu acabó siendo trasladado a Dallas. Desde entonces se volvieron inseparables. Compartieron piso, grupo de amigos, sesiones de escalada y boxeo, tacos, fiestas y dramas, viajes… Juanlu fue el principal testigo del inicio de la relación entre María y José, por lo que ambos estamos muy ilusionados de tenerle a nuestro lado en este momento tan especial para nosotros.
