Answer

Yes, we will be having a black tie optional wedding. For men: Either a suit and tie or tuxedo Footwear: Dress shoes. For women: Dress or Evening Gown: A cocktail dress, long gown, or an elegant dress that is appropriate for a formal setting (ensure you have something to cover your shoulders for the Mass) Accessories: Refined jewelry and a chic clutch or evening bag. Footwear: Stylish heels or dressy flats ***Bridesmaids will be in blue and blue floral dresses, but all other spring colors are welcome.

Answer

We will provide a bus that can take guests from Hotel Candido to the ceremony and back. If you are staying at an Airbnb or other hotel you can Uber or taxi. Feel free to coordinate this with other guests on our Facebook page.

What should I pack?What should I pack?

Answer

In May, Segovia can be as cold as 39 degrees Fahrenheit and as warm as 75. We suggest packing comfortable walking shoes, rain jacket, sweater and/or jacket, a light scarf, and sunglasses. Shawls are very common to wear in Spain and are a good addition to have for the Mass portion of the ceremony. Make sure to have your passport, plug adapters, and, if you can, a credit card without international fees.

Answer

There are no direct lines to Segovia from the airport. However, you can take the C-1 RENFE train from Terminal 4 at Madrid Barajas Airport to Madrid Chamartín station and then transfer to another RENFE line to Segovia.
