How We Met

It was a beautiful sunny day on April 6, 2019, when both Maria and Jonathan met. Unaware that their lives would change forever on this day, they each headed to the Los Angeles Beer Festival, intending to have fun with their friends and try new beers. Maria was in the middle of a photoshoot with all of the fantastic beers she had tried that afternoon. When suddenly, out of nowhere, her friend Deanna yells out, "JonJon"! Jon was friends with Maria's group, but they had never met until that day. Jonathan was then invited to hang out with the group since he could not locate his friends. Maria's friend immediately knew there was a connection between the two of them as soon as they started talking about football. Shortly Maria and Jonathan realized they shared a common interest in football, whiskey, and IPA's. As the afternoon progressed, the conversation became more geared towards their passions and interests. Jonathan was invited to continue with the group's shenanigans throughout the afternoon and evening. Since they both got along so famously, their mutual friends decided that it was time to leave the two of them alone. Although Maria was a little scared of being left alone with a total stranger, Jonathan made sure she made it home safely. After a few days of texting each other, they decided to go on an "official" date. While they almost missed their first date because Maria was under the impression she was being stood up. Jonathan was stuck at work, having to work a late shift. They finally made their movie date to watch "Pet Cemetery." They both pretty much became inseparable after that first date. The only downside to this relationship is that neither will give in on the team their future household will root for, the Carolina Panthers or Detroit Lions. Although everyone knows, if the wife ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.

For all the days along the way
