An excellent white table cloth seafood restaurant in Polanco. Owned by the same people as Contramar (one of the most popular restaurants in the city for Americans), but easier to get reservations. Still need to book reservations in advance.
Our favorite breakfast spot in CDMX! It's an all day cafe run by a well-known Mexican chef, Enrique Olvera. Great for brunch especially. Get the huevos rancheros, conchas, and their seasonal juices! They have 5 locations in the city (in Polanco and Roma where you'll likely be staying). You can book reservations in advance but they also take walk ins pretty easily.
A great restaurant in Polanco across the street from Parque Lincoln. Look into reservations in advance but may be able to walk in without waiting too long. Great for brunch outside. If you do have to wait, you can enjoy a walk in the park.
A Japanese restaurant with delicious sushi and other options. Nobu also has a location in Polanco if you’re looking for higher end Japanese.
A jewish style diner located a short walk from the hotel, on the main shopping street in Polanco. No reservations needed. Marías great-grandmother used to live across the street and would send her grandson (María's uncle) to pick up food there.

A classic ice cream parlor around since the 1940s. Marías grandmother and great-grandmother used to enjoy a sweet treat here back in the day.
A beautiful restaurant in a former townhome. Great ambiance and food. Located in Roma Norte, about a 15 minute drive from the hotel.
Similar to Blanco Colima, but focused on Italian food. It has a Michelin star so it's a tougher reservation to get and a little pricier as well. Located in Roma Norte.
A Northern Mexican style taco place (our favorite type of taco). It's trendy, so expect a wait. They have multiple locations in Roma Norte, Condesa, and Polanco.
Great brunch spot with a large outdoor dining space. Get the chilaquiles!
