Please RSVP by May 28th!
For the health and safety of all of our guests, we are REQUIRING that all persons in attendance at the welcome party and/or wedding have at least one of the following: 1. Proof of a full COVID-19 vaccine series. 2. Proof of a negative PCR test, taken no greater than 72 hours before the event. Antigen tests, at-home tests, and antibody tests will NOT be accepted. Plan accordingly. Depending on the status of the pandemic at the time of the wedding, we may also require that all guests in attendance (regardless of vaccination and/or PCR status) take a rapid antigen test upon arrival. If this is the case, these will be provided to all guests at no cost (but please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes earlier than normal to give time for the test to run). If you are unwilling or unable to comply with these requirements, you cannot attend. Zero exceptions will be made. Finally, if you are not feeling well in any regard, please do not attend.
Great question! Guests can begin arriving at 5:00 PM, and snacks and drinks will be available before the ceremony. The wedding will start *promptly* at 6:00 PM.
We're looking forward to seeing you all in garden party attire. This includes dresses, slacks, dress shirts, etc. No jeans please. Consider the weather--June in Mississippi is very hot! In addition, depending on how much it has rained recently, heels may not be a good choice. The area where the ceremony and reception are taking place will be shaded by 6:00 PM, so you won't have to worry about direct sunlight. You may want to consider using bug spray if you are particularly prone to mosquito bites.
We love your children, but we'd like to give you a night off! Our nieces and nephews are an exception, of course.
Yes, please do! We will ensure that everyone has a meal and dessert to eat--just let us know your restrictions!
Because the ceremony and reception are taking place at Hunter's parent's house, parking is VERY limited. On the wedding day, guests will be unable to park in the driveway because we will need that space to ensure that vendors can come and go as needed. Please consider rideshare (Lyft, Uber, taxi) options, or carpool if you must drive (and park on the street).
Of course! Our wedding will feature a buffet-style dinner, cake, more cookies than you can reasonably count, and an open bar. Everything is paid for, but the bartender would certainly appreciate extra tips!
