Opening in 1898, the Ferry Building became the transportation focal point for anyone arriving by train or ferry until the 1930s. Today, the Ferry Building still operates as a ferry terminal serving he North and East Bay. It is also a Marketplace with world class public food vendors and markets. Worth checking out for the delicious eats, architecture and gorgeous views of the North and Easy Bay.
One of the Wonders of the Modern World, The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most internationally recognized symbols of San Francisco, California, and the United States and is a must see!
The third most visited park in the US, Golden Gate Park is a must visit. With its wide variety of natural and cultural attractions, this 1,000-acre urban green space attracts visitors from around the city and across the country. Stow Lake, The Academy of Sciences and the Dutch Windmills (where we got engaged) are some of our favorite spots!
This artificial island may seem more exotic than exciting to some, as this old naval base is now an SF residential neighbirhood, but it is in our opinion worth a visit as it is one of the best spots to take in the gorgeous views of The Bay and the skyline of the San Francisco.
This quaint coastal town is right across San Francisco! Great views of the city skyline, eats and shopping.
No description needed! Only an hour north of the city, wine country is worth a day (or extended) trip to bask in the serene setting that is Napa and Sonoma Valley, and of course to taste the fruits of the region.
