What is the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

Shuttle transportation will be provided to and from The Griffin House on Saturday. We strongly encourage all guests to utilize the shuttle. Shuttle departure times & locations: 3:50 PM - Best Western Plus Hood River Inn 3:50 PM - Lightwell Hotel & Spa 4:10 PM - Hampton Inn & Suites 4:10 PM - Full Sail Brewing (recommended for guests staying in an Airbnb or outside of downtown Hood River) Visit the 'Shuttles' tab for additional details.

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to dress in cocktail attire. Long dresses (midi or maxi) for ladies, and a suit (tie optional) for the men. Our venue is known for being very windy, so we suggest keeping this in mind when choosing your attire and hairstyle. Please note that the ceremony lawn and cocktail areas are grass and stone pathways. The bridesmaids will be wearing olive green.

When should we arrive in town?

Answer

We will be hosting a Welcome Party for everyone invited to the wedding the evening of Friday, June 19th from 6-9pm and we hope you can come celebrate with us! However, feel free to arrive and depart whenever works best with your schedule.

Can I take an Uber or Lyft?

Answer

Unfortunately, Uber and Lyft do not service Hood River. We strongly recommend a rental car to get from the Portland Airport (PDX) to Hood River and around town during the weekend. For the wedding day, please use the provided shuttle service so you can leave the car keys behind!

Can I park at the venue?

Answer

There are a limited number of parking spots at the venue, reserved only for those who have received prior approval. For the rest of our guests, please use the provided shuttle service. If you're staying outside of town, we recommend parking near Full Sail Brewing and taking the 4:10pm shuttle to the venue.
