Hike around the Santorini Caldera

Hike with us along the Santorini caldera cliff as we pass through the villages of Fira, Firostefani, Imerovigli, and Oia. The hiking trail from Fira to Oia is just under 10.5km (6.5 miles). Part of the path is similar to a sidewalk, parts are cobblestone, and parts are a dirt path. There are portions of the hike that are extremely uphill. You will get sweaty! We encourage you to explore the beautiful town of Oia after the hike. All guests who are participating in the hike should meet at the Volcano View Hotel at 8:30am. We will be transferred to Fira to begin the hike. Transportation will be provided from Oia (end point of the hike) back to The Volcano View Hotel at approximately 2:30pm. Water will be provided.

Join us for drinks and heavy appetizers to kick off our wedding weekend while you are taking in Santorini's famous sunset. Transportation will be provided from the Volcano View hotel to Santorini 520 located in Oia. All guests should meet at the Volcano View Hotel at 7:30pm for transportation to Villa Santorini 520. Please note: There is a 12 minute walk from where you will be dropped off to Villa Santorini 520. Ladies please bring or wear comfortable walking shoes. Return transfers back to the Volcano View Hotel will be from 12:30am - 1:00am.

Motor Yacht Cruise

In lieu of the rehearsal dinner, join us for a sunset yacht cruise around Santorini. Full of hidden coves and snorkeling spots, Santorini’s gorgeous coastline is best seen from the water. This cruise will take us to a series of beaches and landmarks that can only be reached by boat, with time to soak in the island’s volcanic hot springs too! Snorkeling gear will be provided. Dinner and drinks will be served on the yacht. Transportation will be provided from the Volcano View Hotel to the port and back. All guests should meet at the Volcano View Hotel at 2:00pm to be transferred to Athinios port to board the boat. Return transfers will be from 8:45pm - 9:15pm back to the Volcano View Hotel.

Transportation will be provided from Volcano View Hotel to the Church. Vans will depart starting at 5:10pm. 17 seater vans will be provided for this route to ensure we approach church as near as possible. Vans will be leaving with 5 minute intervals; we request that guests board the first available bus and not cause delays by waiting for the last bus as this will delay our arrival and the ceremony. Guests may need to walk for a few minutes; we do recommend comfortable shoes or ladies to carry sandals with them and change when they arrive. Guests will be transferred to Erosantorini at 6:50pm. Please be sure to look out for our wedding planners with signs saying "Maria & Vasilios Wedding" to escort you to the vans.

Dinner, drinks and dancing to follow our ceremony, which overlooks the most beautiful view in the world. Get ready for a night you’ll never forget! Erosantorini is located on a cliff, and it does get windy at night. Women, please be sure to bring a shawl.
