Alex and I first met in 2016. We were introduced to each other by his sister, who had invited me to spend the weekend with her family. Alex took his sisters and I to Yosemite where we had a wonderful time. While there was a definite spark between us, we didn't utter a single word to each other during the whole trip and after the weekend was over we went our separate ways. Two years passed and we had only seen each other two other times without saying anything more than a "hi" or "bye." With a mutual crush between us and both of his sisters acting as cupid we eventually started talking. After three months of texting, we went on our first date together where he finally asked me to be his Girlfriend. We have been inseparable ever since.

Alex y yo nos conocimos en el 2016. Nos presentó su hermana, quien me había invitado a pasar el fin de semana con su familia. Alex nos llevó a sus hermanas y a mí a Yosemite, donde lo pasamos de maravilla. Si hubo una chispa entre nosotros, pero no nos dijimos ni una sola palabra durante todo el viaje y después de que terminó el fin de semana tomamos caminos separados. Pasaron dos años y solo nos habíamos visto dos veces sin decir nada más que un "hola" o un "adiós". Con sus dos hermanas actuando como cupido, finalmente comenzamos a hablar. Después de tres meses de enviar mensajes de texto, fuimos a nuestra primera cita juntos donde finalmente me pidió que fuera su novia. Hemos sido inseparables desde entonces.

Alex and I had decided to take a small vacation to visit family in California which included a trip to Yosemite National Park, the same place he had taken me when we first met. We woke up super early that day to beat the crowds and made our way to Yosemite. It was a short hike to see the beautiful views that Taft Point has to offer, which we had all to ourselves. We set up the camera and after a few pictures Alex got down on one knee, pulled out a beautiful ring, and all I could say was "of course!" and we were engaged. It was such an amazing moment and we're so excited to finally be able to celebrate our love and happiness.
