The Wedding Website of María F. Castellanos and Skyler J. Iafrate
With warm hearts, we welcome you to the Colombian Caribbean! Cartagena's Rafael Núñez International Airport offers non-stop flights to and from many U.S destinations. The airport itself is about 15 minutes from the neighborhoods we recommend for lodging, which are: the Walled City (also known as "El Centro") and Getsemaní. We are encouraging our guests to look into Airbnbs in these areas. There are many gorgeous apartments and villas offering a traditional Colombian feel, while providing easy access to immerse yourself in the city. Don't worry! This area of Cartagena is closely linked to each other, so regardless of where you book, you will likely be close enough to our venue to walk to it, or take a 5 minute cab ride!

About The Walled City

Convenient to historic attractions and museums, the best cuisine and bars of Cartagena, and the best shopping. This is the liveliest area and most recommended for our guests.

About Getsemaní

This neighborhood is right outside the Walled City, and while also an area for tourism, it has a slower pace and feels more laid back. While all of Cartagena shows appreciation for the arts with its bright colors and street murals, Getsemaní shines as an art district. It wouldn't be surprising to walk the streets and spot several artists out painting or sketching.
