While the rest of the weekend will be laidback and casual, we're looking forward to seeing everyone get a little dressed up Saturday night. Jackets or suits encouraged for men. Summer cocktail dresses for women. The ceremony will be on a lawn, so stilettos probably aren't the greatest choice. It may also get a little chilly in the evening, so having a sweater or shawl handy is recommended.
- Casual clothes. Outside of the wedding itself, our goal for the rest of the weekend is laid-back vacation. Feel free to dress accordingly! - Swim suits! We have a whole lakefront to ourselves where we can paddle board, kayak, and swim all weekend long.. Even if you're not staying at the venue, there are plenty of bathrooms/changing rooms to use if you'd like to take a dip in the lake. - Hiking boots or sturdy shoes. Bring these if you're up for a Saturday morning hike, or if you want to stick around for a few hours on Sunday and explore the Berkshires a bit more. - Sunscreen and bugspray. Hopefully we'll have lots of sun and few bugs, but it's best to be prepared. - Board games/card games/puzzles. Both of our families love a good board or card game, so feel free to bring your favorite and make some new friends over a game. There's plenty of space in the cottages or out on the porches for some rousing games of Oh Hell! or Cribbage.
