Why a Vow Renewal?

Answer

This is a party to celebrate Marguerite and Steven: their first five years of marriage and a lifetime together. This is not a wedding so things will look different but there will be food, music, games and a whole lot of love! When we married in Covid, we didn’t have a traditional ceremony, no flowers or guests. There was no big reception or a wedding party, and only a few photos taken by kind strangers. After five years of marriage and almost a decade of building a life together, we want to celebrate our love with our community.

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress theme is Garden Party. Think long, flowy dresses and formal guayaberas. Jeans are a bit too casual, and a full formal suit is more than you’ll need. Since our venue includes a barn and grassy areas, we recommend flats or shoes that will keep you comfortable all evening.

What should I get you?

Answer

We have been living our married life for five years now; we have what we need. So instead, if you would really like to get us something, we would be so grateful to receive a donation to Our Family's Future Together. All gifts will be dedicated to building a strong foundation for our family's future.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

It's a pizza party! Our caterer will be preparing dinner on site in pizza ovens along with appetizers and sides. The menu of fresh pizzas includes: Pepperoni; Margarita; Meat Lovers; Veggie; Ricotta, Bacon, and Truffle oil; Pesto, Blue cheese, and Caramelized onion; and more! There will be vegetarian and gluten free options.

Will Mara be at the party?

Answer

Definitely! We can't wait for everyone to meet her. We are not posting any pictures of Mara to social media. Please feel free to cover her face in photos if you'd like to post.

Absolutely! We love all the kids in our community and can't wait to celebrate with them!
