We do (again)

Marguerite and Steven spent years living in the same state, crossing paths at college, and even living as neighbors, but it wasn’t until they both found themselves in Madrid, teaching English abroad, that they met. It was during an orientation for their new jobs when they crossed paths in a hotel lobby. She desperately needed a cup of coffee, and he, standing at the coffee vending machine, showed her how to use it. When they started getting to know each other, she thought he was a handsome gentleman, his cute glasses adding to his charm. It was his kindness and the way he made her feel at ease that caught her heart. He thought she was beautiful. For him, it was the way she cared, the way she smiled, and how easily they connected over the simplest of things. After three years of dating and a year engaged, Marguerite and Steven eloped in 2020 during the pandemic. Four years later they learned wonderful news: a baby was on the way! On July 2, 2025 they celebrated the birth of their daughter, Mara Isabel McCaig. The first five years of marriage hasn't always been easy, but it has always been real. Together, they navigate life’s ups and downs, growing closer with every step. Through it all, they have become a family. Their vow renewal is not just a celebration of their relationship, but a celebration of the love that brought them together, made them stronger, and built their family.
