It all started on Farringdon Road in London of 2009. An introduction during a study abroad semester would yield an ember that laid dormant for years. Every so often, two mutual friends would bring their orbits in alignment to fan that ember to a faint glow: a derby party in Kentucky, a football Saturday in South Bend. But it wasn't until November of 2013 that the spark finally caught. Nathan, having just come from a job interview, arrived at Margot's doorstep one evening in a sharp navy suit. The plan was for some friends to stay with her that weekend for a Notre Dame Football game, but as fate would have it, they all got delayed - except for Nathan. Margot, not thinking too much of this man in her apartment, whom she'd technically known for years, threw on her best LBT (little black t-shirt) and some jeans and suggested dinner. On the menu: Lebanese food, a bottle of red wine, and so much laughter. And that sealed the deal. They've been sharing meals together ever since. Over the last five and a half years, these two have built a beautiful life together complete with a gorgeous home, a sweet rascal dog - Lucas - and so much love and respect for one another. It’s been a decade-long journey to this point and they can't wait to share this next step with all their friends and family this September.
