Absolutely. For those looking for an economy option right by the ceremony site, we have reserved a Hotel Block at the Four Points Sheraton. If you are interested in a hotel with more amenities, like a rooftop bar and mountain views, the Hyatt Place and the Hotel Indigo both have offered us a discount code while rooms are still available. Is Uber/Lyft available in Asheville?

Answer

Absolutely, both the ceremony and reception venues will have no problem getting ridesharing app service. We encourage all our guests to make use of them for all their transportation needs.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we encourage all our guests to dress in cocktail or formal attire.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00, so we would encourage all guests to plan to arrive in time to be seated by 1:45 to enjoy the musical prelude and the beautiful theater beforehand.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony is downtown at the Masonic Temple in Asheville. The parking there is very limited, so we would encourage people to walk (the ceremony is a block away from the Four Points Sheraton) or catch an Uber/Lyft, which are plentiful in our city. Those who choose to drive will either have to find metered street parking or use a nearby public parking garage. The nearest public garage is two blocks away, attached to the AC hotel at 16 Broadway street. The reception will have parking available, but we will also be providing bus transportation from the hotels to the reception and back again. All are welcome to use this service, even if you are not staying at the hotel.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of revelry and relaxation, we respectfully ask that no children attend the reception.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be a bus that picks up from the hotels at 5:00 and transport people to the reception and will transport people back throughout the night. The transportation schedule can be found below: Four Points Sheraton (22 Woodfin Street): Arriving at hotel at 4:45, leaving for reception at 5:00 Arriving at hotel at 4:55, leaving for reception at 5:10 Hotel Indigo (151 Haywood Street): Arriving at hotel at 5:00, leaving for reception at 5:15
