How you + the bride met: womb-mates; we lived in the same womb. How you bonded: I think one of my all-time favorite life experiences that happened later in my adulthood was getting to live with my sister as adults. I treasured our home-bonding and just the general day-to-days we shared. as single, working girls, we shared a lot of celebratory moments and took respite in each other's company in a way that was not possible growing up. I relished the ways we knew we could count on each other. Fun fact about yourself: I'll beat a h** up ‘bout mine.

Relationship to Bride: A linesister turned into a best friend Memory with Bride: We somehow decided to go moonlight canoeing on a river and were so excited. But upon arrival we were instantly terrified, realizing we could actually flip & fall into the river, in the dark. We got into the canoe & spent 2hrs amazed we were really doing this, laughing from fear of hitting a gator, & getting our ores stuck. It’s one of my fondest memories with Margi - we both like adventurous & unsafe things like this. We got back to the dock, de-canoed w/out falling in the river, & got home only to realize a swarm of mosquitoes tried to eat us alive. We spent the rest of the night rubbing ice & lemon juice everywhere. ‘Twas a great day. :) Fun fact: Marjua can tag me in cuz I, too, will beat someone up.

Relationship to bride/how you met: I’m her FOREVER WIFEY! JK! Bestie since High school! Met in our high school theater department 9/10th grade year. Became lifelong friends 11/12th grade year. Quick Story with bride/how you bonded: Oh goodness! We have so many. Side note, I’m actually married to her best friend since 7th grade. BUT we didn’t bond through him, we bonded through my ex, who was her best friend at the time.... MESSY! Anyway, we bonded over salami snowflakes. 🤣 I’ve never heard of that before in my life. However, even though it was something so simple, that night we bonded over realizing that we could talk about anything and just be ourselves – no judgment! Fun fact about yourself: I was on Broadway when I was 10 in the Lion King.

Relationship to bride: Cousin How you bonded: All is a blessing: a phrase I’ve learned to adopt as I’ve gotten older. The year Marjua graduated high school was the year I felt like I lost my friend and was alone. Little did I know, though, that that was exactly what was needed for Margiselle and I to build our relationship. I don’t think I have one moment in general that stands out to me, but instead, I’m grateful for all the moments that she’s opened up to me whether she needed to heal or vent or cry or laugh. I appreciate and love her more for every moment she has trusted me with her feelings. Fun fact about yourself: I still don’t have a driver’s license. 🤷🏾♀

Relationship to bride: COUSIN! How you bonded: Being that she was young when she moved to FL, we never really got a chance to get to know each other. She'd visit and we’d have a great time, but it wasn’t until she moved back to NY and we started hanging out more that I really got to know her as a person. Just being able to hang out in depth and know each other on a personal level is what I feel connected us. Also, the fact that we’re both big Eminem fans and would go bar for bar on his lyrics. Fun fact about yourself: I got suspended my last week of High School for sneaking into my own prom.

Relationship to bride: Sorority Sister/ Friend Quick Story with bride/how you bonded: I think our time as roommates at Campus Lodge can easily be dubbed as one of the lowest points of our lives. We were broke af, depressed af, and quite frankly, raggedy af too, but somehow through it all we were able to make those crazy times some of the best moments. It was those moments - the highs and lows - where our friendship and bond began to grow. Fun fact about yourself: When I was a kid, my cousin and I sang and recorded "The Boy is Mine" in a professional studio and the next week we ran into Brandy outside of Chuck E Cheese. It was only natural that I then asked her to autograph the whoopee cushion I got as a prize.

How you + the bride met: Honestly, no idea. We didn't choose to be friends, we were blessed to be family. Primas for life! Rodriguez hasta la tambora. How you bonded: For a brief period of time, she lived in my mother's house & it felt great to share that space when I'd visit home - it was like having a sister! It also brought me much comfort knowing she was keeping my mom company while I was away. We didn't need to have deep conversations to enjoy each other's company. Something as simple as watching TV sufficed. I could go weeks without seeing her & we'd pick up right where we left off. That has never changed, & I hope it doesn't. Fun fact about yourself: I haven’t seen like 75% of classic Disney movies & I am looking forward to watching them with my son.

Relationship to bride: My cousin - but that’s far from what she is to me. She’s also a sister, best friend, my right & left hand partner in crime. Quick Story with bride: My favorite story is Summer 2020. I felt so alone & lost. Margi opened her doors, extra bed, fridge, & heart to me. We’d spend our days crying & nights drinking Prosecco. We’d watch 90 day fiancé and laugh for hours! We’d grab beach chairs & hang out in the park, talking about how special we truly are & how bad we couldn’t wait for things to get better for us. Can’t believe we made it Margi! Every single story I have of us & the goals that came with them became reality. There's no greater bond. Fun fact about you: I still have all those songs we recorded together. The bloopers, adlibs & final masterpieces. I love you!
