We met through mutual friends at Bonnaroo in 2017. After dating long-distance for a year, Shane moved to New Orleans, and we shared a sweet home behind St. Roch Market with our two cats. Later on, we relocated to Austin so Margaret could attend the Masters of Landscape Architecture program at the University of Texas at Austin and adopted our Great Dane mix, Buck. Margaret finished her degree in the spring of 2022, and Shane proposed the morning of graduation day.
