We're getting married!

We met at Christchurch School on August 17, 2016 during preseason. We were going into our junior year of high school. Quickly after we met, Nash arranged for our moms to sign us up for the same in-car drivers ed course so we could see each other more, despite already having math and history class together. By mid October, October 15th to be exact, Nash asked me to be his girl. Fast forward to after college and a year living with his college friends, we moved in together in Richmond, VA in August 2023. In the spring of 2024 we got our first dog together, a golden retriever named Cisco. 9 years later and we are getting married!

Exactly 8 years later, to the day, Nash asked Margaret to marry him. Margaret was on an annual girls trip with her two best friends in the Outer Banks. Nash was having a "guys golfing weekend." The three girls were walking to dinner on the beach at sunset and out comes Nash and Cisco. She ran to him as she had a strong feeling as to why he was on the beach, in a button down and khakis, and not back home in Richmond at The Grill with his friends. He proceeded with a speech she'll never forget and got down on one knee. Once the ring was on, Margaret looked up to see her parents and Nash's parents walking towards them on the beach to top off the surprise. The night continued with dinner and endless celebrating at her parents' beach cottage.
