Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie - Formal jacket or tuxedos for men, floor-length dress or gown for women

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

As much as we love having them around, we ask for you to refrain from bringing children to both the ceremony and reception. Parents deserve to have some time off and have fun! If you do bring your children on your trip, we highly recommend using White House Nannies as your baby-sitting services. For more information about White House Nannies, please refer to the "Travel" tab on our website.

Question

How do I get to Dahlgren Chapel once on campus?

Answer

We strongly recommend arriving at the campus at the front gates (37th and O st). The chapel is directly behind Healy Hall (gothic architecture with clock tower). From the main gates, head in the direction of Healy Hall and go down the street to the right of it (if facing the front of the building). Follow the path until it curves to the left and goes through a brick tunnel. Immediately turn left to arrive at the chapel. If the doors are open, you can head straight through Healy Hall but the doors may require a student card to access. If you go down the hill to the left of Healy Hall, continue down, and then turn right at the Old N Way street sign. The chapel will be on the right. Question

Both will be indoors.
