Question

How many guests will be attending?

Answer

At this time, we are expecting between 120 - 130 guests. We will keep you posted if anything changes closer to the date!

Question

Will the wedding be hosted indoors or outdoors?

Answer

While our ceremony and reception are taking place indoors, the cocktail hour, weather dependent, will be held outdoors. We will be adhering to any COVID-19-safe policies our venue may have implemented at that time.

Question

Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

Frederick county, MD is not currently mandating masks (updated 10/19/21). While it's not a requirement for our wedding, we completely understand and respect any guests who may wish to wear a mask on the day. Please note that we won't be supplying masks at the venue, so you will need to provide your own.

Question

Do I need to get tested or be fully vaccinated?

Answer

As we're sure you can imagine, we are closely monitoring COVID and how it may impact our wedding plans. We are thrilled that we are one step closer to celebrating with you, and your health and safety continue to be our priority. As such, we are strongly encouraging all guests who are attending our wedding in person be fully vaccinated or practice COVID precautions, including testing, before the big day (updated 10/19/21). Should these recommendations become requirements, we will be sure to let you know.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

We understand some of you may not be able to confirm your attendance until closer to the date, particularly those who are traveling. However, your RSVP reply is requested by Saturday, September 25th. Please see our RSVP section to reply online.

Question

Will live streaming options be available if we can't attend?

Answer

The church will host a live stream option of our wedding ceremony for those who may want to attend virtually. You can access the link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RHP4_VPHJo

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your children, our wedding is going to be a 21+ adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a Plus One?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay within our venue's accommodations during COVID-19. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive about 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony (~1:30PM), to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the festivities started as scheduled!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony and receiving line, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests who are staying overnight and have not already done so are free to check into their hotel rooms. Guests can then head to the reception venue, about a 10 minute (3 mile) drive, where cocktail hour will be hosted.

Question

What food will be served and what if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We will be having a variety of entrées during the dinner portion of our reception, including a grilled salmon and chicken option. Should you require a vegetarian entrée or other dietary accommodations, please contact us as soon as possible so we may make arrangements.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are so excited that you'll be joining us, and we want you to be fully present for our ceremony. We have two wonderful photographers who will capture every moment, and we'll make sure to share those photos with you all! With this in mind, we will be having an unplugged ceremony and ask that you refrain from photos during that time. For the reception? Go wild! Be sure to tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ForeverFitz
