Best Man
I’ve have known Theo AKA “T-Log” (because of his proficient Algebraic abilities especially with logarithms) since high school. We served as student leaders during our senior year; I was the President of our senior class and Theo was my Vice President. Together, we collaborated on school events, leadership initiatives, and countless student activities. His dedication, thoughtfulness, and calm leadership left a lasting impression on me that lingers even as of now. Our friendship continued to flourish after we went to college at AME University, where we supported one another academically and personally. Over the years, our relationship has deepened into one built on mutual respect, trust, and genuine brotherhood. Theo is a confidante. I live in Atlanta, Georgia, where I serve as a Financial Budget Analyst with the United States Department of Defense. My professional path has been both challenging and rewarding, and I’m grateful for the experiences that have shaped me along the way. In addition to my work, I’m passionate about education and enjoy tutoring in subjects such as Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Physics, and Chemistry. When I’m not working or teaching, I enjoy traveling, networking, watching and playing soccer, basketball, and American football, and spending time with my family and close friends. A fun fact about me: I have an exceptional memory for names and faces; I still recall every individual from high school. I take great pride in being a best man.
Maid of Honor
Hi, my name is Edeia, but my family affectionately calls me DeeDee. I’m Mardea’s younger sister and I live in Mebane, North Carolina. I work in public health and am currently pursuing my graduate degree. I also have a deep love for travel and exploring new places. What I admire most about my sister is how encouraging she is when it comes to my dreams. She’s one of the most ambitious people I know and has an incredible gift for seeing the best in others—even when they struggle to see it in themselves. No one deserves a “happily ever after” more than she does. I’m honored to stand beside her as one of her Maids of Honor as she begins this beautiful new chapter with Theo.

I am Austin and I am a husband to Theo's cousin, Snohti. My wife and I live in Atlanta, Georgia
Maid of Honor
I am Saoreese Eliason, but people mostly call me Sao. Fun fact: I love nature and traveling. I work in healthcare and live in Charlotte, NC since 2010, and I've really enjoyed my time there. I met Mardea at a job in Charlotte, and for so many reasons, we just clicked. We exchanged phone numbers and never stop talking. Our first girls' trip was to Atlanta, and it was amazing. Overtime we became more than friends – more like sisters, and we've been inseparable. We do almost everything together. Our kids share an amazing bond too. One fun moment with Mardea was a road trip together to New York City. We were a bit afraid of getting lost in the buzzing city, so we tied our shirts together, so we'd end up in the same place if we got separated 😂. From my experiences with Mardea, she's a fighter, a go-getter, and a hard-working woman. She's very driven and caring. Today is her day, and she deserves every song, every step, every smile, and every joy God has for her. I love you, girl ❤️.
Man of Honor
Theo has been the best half of my little sister Mardea. He loves, cherishes and keeps her happy. He doesn't shy away from our family events. He's a kind of person that will give support, check on us constantly and ensures that both families keep in touch. I wouldn't have rather any other option for my sister than Mr. Doblah. He is the humblest soul that I have met and just the right match that will live happily ever after with my sister. I am glad that I was chosen to stand by him on this very auspicious occasion. I live in Graham, North Carolina with my wife(Lisa) and our three beautiful kids. I work in healthcare logistics at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC. Fun fact about me, I love to travel and explore new places with my family. I love to shop and being a lovely dad to my kids and wife. See you all at the wedding and let's celebrate what God has joined together.
Matron of Honor
Mardea and I met in Durham NC about 17 years ago in our little Liberian community. Coming from the same country around the same time and trying to find our way in the great USA. We moved away after some years but stayed intouch. Fast forward, unknowingly, we both end up in the same Gastonia, NC neighborhood just couple of houses apart, and for the past few years, it has being a blessing to have us reunited, now in a different community few houses apart.. In our African way, " Her house is my house and my house is hers. lol.... if you know, you know. hahahaha. If I can sum up one word to describe her, that word will be resilient. "SHE IS A GO- GETTER" I am honored to be a part of your big day. I’m Monica, from 🇱🇷 Liberia… Reside in Gastonia, a City on the west of Charlotte, North Carolina. My occupation is a Nurse.… 🙌. A truthful friend, a kind woman who love everyone, regardless. I have strong passion for cooking, cleaning, among others… Oh! Let me add this fun fact, I’m a fashion shopper.

My is Robert Karloh. I Currently live in Minnesota, I am a program manager. I enjoy Spending time with wife and kids. Theo and I have known each other since the 5th grade. During the war, we attended pre-school at Rocks International School in Paynesville and later move on to Isaac A. David where we completed Junior High school. Theo and I shared so many memories in common that I would go on a whole year talking about all that we did while growing up. I didn't see him like a little boy but as an age-mate because of his intelligence and competitive spirit. Theo was one of the brightest students in every class that we sat in though usually the youngest kid. He was aways mistaken to be an elementary kid even though we were in our last year of junior high. I am proud of the man he has become and fully booming in his career. My heart is forever grateful to be called upon to standing by him as he takes Mardea's hand into marriage.

Good evening everyone, my name is Mercy Morgan and I have the absolute joy of celebrating my beautiful friend Mardea today. We actually met in a nursing chat group — where we shared our nursing experiences. From the moment I met her, I knew she was someone special — the kind of friend who can make you laugh when you want to cry and somehow stay graceful even when running on two hours of sleep and a shot of espresso. Over the years, I’ve seen her care for everyone around her with such heart and today, seeing her loved so deeply by Theophilus I can honestly say she’s found someone who loves her with that same dedication and selfless passion. Mardea, you are radiant today and I couldn’t be happier to see you begin this next chapter surrounded by so much love. I am a registered nurse and pursuing my Family Nurse Practioner degree. I live in a Charlotte, NC with my husband and a beautiful kid. I love to watch movies and share precious moments with my family.

Hi everyone! I’m Tinicee, one of Theo’s cousins and one of the bridesmaids. I work in the banking industry and I am also a content creator. It’s such a joy and honor to stand beside him and Mardea as they begin this beautiful new chapter together. Theo is the glue to our Doblah side of the family. I didn’t know much family from my moms side until Theo reached out showed us all of our family. I call him our family tree. Theo has always been more than a cousin to me — he’s been like a brother. When he first moved from Liberia and lived with me, we built memories I’ll never forget and shared lots of laughter. We even learned how to fish together. Seeing the man he’s become fills me with so much pride. His journey has been nothing short of inspiring, and it’s clear that his path has always been ordered by God. And because of that, it’s only right that God blessed him with someone as loving, graceful, and kind as Mardea. Theo and Mardea’s love is a reflection of faith, patience, and divine timing — and I couldn’t be happier to witness and celebrate it. Congratulations to you both.

My name is Gardea! I first met Theo back in 2007 on campus, AME University. It was the start of the school year, and everyone was a little lost, trying to find their classes. Suddenly, someone patted my shoulder and asked, "Is that a baby? Is he here too?" They were talking about Theo! I'll admit, he was the youngest and smallest among us, but he definitely made an impression. We quickly found a way to connect, and I was so surprised to discover that he and my dad share the same first name-Theophilus. Since then, we've stayed in touch, and I've come to know him as a jovial, easygoing, and fun-loving person. So, when I was asked to share in this special wedding celebration for him and his beautiful wife-to be, I didn't hesitate for a moment. I’m someone who deeply values friendship, love, and genuine connections, and I’ve been blessed to share wonderful moments with both of them in different chapters of life. Mardea and I have known each other since childhood. We lived in the same apartment building, and honestly, we were inseparable, best friends who shared everything. We ate together, laughed together, got into trouble together, and even got scolded together. She’s always been such a beautiful soul, kind-hearted, funny, caring, and full of life. To me, she’ll always be “Pilo,” the nickname that holds so many memories from our childhood. I am so glad she is such a grown amazing woman and seeing her so happy today fills my heart with pride and joy. Theo my Maryland County brother, is more than a friend, he’s a brother. I can’t even remember the exact moment we became friends, but it was definitely back home in Liberia. Over time, I came to know him as one of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever met, someone who always brings calm, warmth, and good energy wherever he goes. Life reconnected us in Sweden as scholars, and our bond grew even stronger. Together, Mardea and Theo are truly a perfect match.
