Things To Do

Georgetown has plenty of local places to visit. Majority of shopping and eating is in "The Square". We are excited to share some of our favorite places to eat, drink, and explore!

Garey Park

6450 Ranch to Market Road 2243, Georgetown, TX 78628
, (512) 930-6800

Our wedding venue is actually located in this beautiful park! Great for picnics and playtime for the kiddos. The park is equipped with a small fishing pond, playground, 7 miles of hiking, splashpad and dog park. There is a $4 entrance fee at the gate.

Blue Corn Harvest Bar & Grill

212 West 7th Street, Georgetown, TX 78626
, (512) 819-6018

This was the first restaurant we ate at while we visited Georgetown for the first time. Food was delish and their cocktails were refreshing!

Grape Creek on the Square - Tasting Room

101 West 7th Street, Georgetown, TX 78626
, (512) 863-4020

Amazing wine! Buy by the bottle or glass. This was our go-to place to have a drink while we did some wedding planning. We have visited their winery in Fredericksburg often!

600 Degrees Pizzeria

124 East 8th Street, Georgetown, TX 78626
, (512) 943-9272

Want a giant slice of pizza? This is the place!

Blue Hole Park

100 Blue Hole Park, Georgetown, TX 78626
, (512) 930-3595

This is a local swimming hole right on the San Gabriel River. Open dawn to dusk. There is a burger joint walking distance from the swimming hole if you get hungry after soaking in the sun!

Barrels and Amps

718 South Austin Avenue, Georgetown, TX 78626
, (512) 688-5717

Your typical burger and bar type of joint with a decent sized beer list!

Monument Cafe

500 South Austin Avenue, Georgetown, TX 78626
, (512) 930-9586

A 1940's cafe style with yummy breakfast. Frequented often by the Matthew McConaughey himself!
