Our story began in 2019 during a university night out at Dolan’s Nightclub in Limerick. What started as a fun evening turned into the beginning of something truly special. That summer was filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Soon after, Bill relocated for work, and we spent the next few years navigating long distance — from Limerick and Germany to the Netherlands, South Korea, Taiwan, and the USA. Despite the miles, we made every moment together count. Whenever Bill returned to Ireland, we filled our days with road trips, searching for the best pizza spots, cozy cafés, and the most beautiful beaches the country had to offer. In 2021, Marcy moved to the Netherlands for her master’s degree, and we began building our life together there. Along the way, we travelled to some of our favourite places, including Malta, Prague, and Portugal. Now, we live in Veldhoven with our beautiful dog, Éire. In December 2024, during a "peaceful" getaway to Louisburgh, Co. Mayo (in the middle of a yellow wind warning and with the Atlantic gusting around us) Bill popped the question. We are so excited to begin this next chapter — together.
