Matron of Honor
First off I’m sooooo excited for Tobi to embark on this journey with a special person. My not so little sister has always said she wanted to be with someone who loves her, adores her, and never makes her doubt their relationship, and that’s exactly what she found in Marcus! Tobi deserves the best, to say the least she is sweet, kind, encouraging, and very grounded. I have watched her mature so seamlessly over the years to a strong woman who is not just beautiful on the outside, but on the inside as well . I’ll save the embarrassing stories for the wedding day 🤗 I’m so grateful to have Tobi & now Marcus in my life, and I wish them all the love and happiness in the world!!
Best Man
Caring, Smart, Sincere, Talented and just all around a great guy! But that’s enough about me, I think this is supposed to be for Marcus..Lol Being the little brother, I could come up with so many stories, jokes, and memories that we've shared throughout the years and I’m surprised they gave me a platform to express myself, but I’ll keep it short and sweet this time. Marcus has been a great example growing up, especially spiritually, and I know that the love he has for Jehovah will carry over into his marriage. I couldn’t be happier for Marcus and Tobi for the commitment that they’ve made! Dating long distance must’ve been tough for them, but with the right motives and Jehovah’s help, it was made possible. Marcus is a great guy and I’m really proud of him and his progression. Even though he is moving to HOU, nothing could interfere with that Brother connection! Congratulations again, love you both. (1 Cor 16:14)
Maid of Honor
I remember the exact Thursday evening when I got a message from my sister that was full of more emojis than words. I thought someone had stolen her phone because I’ve never seen her use that many emojis in one text before. That’s when I realized that there must be something special about this guy to make my sister become so bubbly and excited. I’ve always looked up to and admired Tobi, she has set a great example for me as an older sister. I will always consider her my best friend and I couldn’t imagine my life without her in it. I couldn’t be more elated that my beautiful, talented, and loving older sister has finally found someone who appreciates and values her as much as I do. These past few months have gone by so fast and have been a whirlwind of emotions, but I’m so excited to welcome my new older brother to the family. Tobi and Marcus make a great pair and I know that Jehovah is so proud of both of them. I love you both so much and I know you guys have many happy days to experience together forever! With extra love from baby Gracie :)!

The stories I have of Marcus are seemingly endless, but I'll stick to who he is as a man and great friend. He's a man of immense sincerity and kindness, you can always rely on him to be there for you. Out of all of us guys growing up he was the most responsible and mature, while also knowing how to have a good time. I'm so incredibly happy and proud of him and I know that all the amazing qualities he already has will make him a great husband and spiritual head. Congratulations Marcus and Tobi!

I met Tobi when I moved to Texas at 17 years old. It was such a huge and overwhelming transition, uprooting from the inner city of Chicago to a suburb of Houston with varying cultures. There was also a huge hole in my heart at that time. I’ll always remember the blessing of true friends that took me in and made that transition easier. Proverbs 17:17 describes a friend who shows love at all times and who is born for times of distress. With her kindhearted nature and hospitable spirit, Tobi easily became one my closest friends! She encouraged me to put Jehovah first and start a career in pioneering, to this day, in my mind, our marathon wing Wednesdays and Perry’s steak house Fridays are legendary and won’t ever be forgotten. However, she didn’t just stop at being my pioneer partner, between LDC (concrete crew!), traveling the world, and being roommate for 3 years she honestly became my sister, and I can’t think of anyone who knows me better! Loving, supportive, loyal, genuine, honest, caring, kind. I thought she was rare honestly, that is until she met Marcus, the love of her life! He truly does enhance the amazing qualities you already have and bring out the absolute best in you. More importantly, you both continue to inspire me that true love is real and not just a fantasy. So, to my best friend and her soon to be husband, I can’t tell you how happy I am for you guys and I can’t wait to celebrate your love story!

Marcus. Neither of us really remember when or where we became brothers, but we did, and that I am forever grateful for. Marcus I consider my brother and not in the metaphorical sense, I consider him to be as close as my birth siblings. With that being said I feel like I've seen almost all sides of him, the lows, the highs, the absolutely ridiculous arguments we would have about legit nothing and everything in between. I can honestly say that Marcus is one of the kindest, genuine people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He's always kept Jehovah extremely close and even when he didn't know it, inspired me and countless others to draw closer to Jehovah as well. It had been an absolute honor and blessing growing up and sharing my childhood with Marcus. I'm so proud of him and Tobi and I know that they are gonna have a beautiful life, full of goofy moments (what Marcus is known for), good food, and Jehovah. Congratulations Marcus and Tobi, love you both.

I vividly remember at one of my first meetings in Houston Tobi, coming up to me with her infectious smile “ Hi, I’m Tobi!” and the warmest hug ever! From then on, I KNEW we would be friends, but little did I know we would become way more than friends, but sisters. I never imagined that Tobi would support me in some of the hardest times of my life, or accompany me on some of the best trips of my life. That we would share some of the most crazy exciting adventures together, and that we would be side-by-side navigating through life. I definitely would not have imagined that we would be so inseparable that we were moved into the same apartment complex on the same floor! But Jehovah knew, he knew just what I needed, the most amazing friend ever, one of the closest confidant, field service partner, movie partner, ultimate restaurant companion, vacation lituator, and so much more! Tobi, I can’t put into words how proud I am of you and your union with Marcus, I’ve always told you, “you deserve all the things,”and I’m so proud to be by your side to witness you receiving them all! My sister forever- love you! (Mean it!)

Where do I start? From awkward head nods to battling on the basketball court to go kart accidents to many laughs to traveling, the past decade has been nothing but a blast. Marcus is like the big brother I never had. He's taught me many things over the past few years. One of that being given the needed one on one talks to help me progress in the truth. I have watched Marcus grow over the years. From getting baptized, to giving his first public talk, to becoming a Bethelite, to now getting married. Congrats on this new chapter in your life and don’t forget your little bro out there in Houston.

Tobi and I’s friendship goes back many years. It’s truly a friendship I’ve never had to question, and for that, I am so thankful. It’s not easy finding genuine people who are kind, caring, and thoughtful, yet Tobi is all of these things and MORE! We’ve supported each other through so many pivotal moments in life including our graduations from University of Houston, my move to South Carolina (and back lol), Tobi’s move to the city… and so so many moments in between! Life has thrown some crazy things our way but I can say that regardless of shifts in our dynamics, we’ve always remained solid. I am additionally thankful to Tobi for always encouraging me spiritually and mentally. As I write this, I smile thinking about our evolution and maturation as young, powerful women over the years. I am hopeful that Tobi and Marcus will have a lifetime full of love, joy and happiness with Jehovah as their third cord. I cannot wait to support Tobi by her side on her wedding day and for many more years to come!

Marcus is the nicest person you will ever meet and have vocals only Angels can obtain. He's always putting spiritual pursuits first and Keeping Jehovah #1 in his life. Marcus is not a man of many words but when he told me about meeting Tobi, it was the longest conversation we've had in the 4 years of knowing each other.I knew it was going to be special and everlasting. I always give Marcus and Tobi a hard time about their lovey-dovey relationship, but they are the definition of genuine love. Very happy for both and they'll have forever to be g...... grateful of each other's presence.

I met Tobi through my cousin Marcus! I remember being so excited to meet her after hearing about them meeting at his last houston trip. Since that day I had loved Tobi! Even though I haven’t known her as long I am so grateful for the friendship that we have been able to grow. I can’t express how happy I am for both Marcus and Tobi. Throughout their journey I have been able to see their love blossom and witness Jehovah blessing their efforts. I love you both dearly! Can’t wait for you to join the family!
