First and foremost, asking for no children was not our first choice, so we are sorry! We love you all and your kiddos are such a joy, but due to capacity limitations, we had to make the difficult decision. If your child is under 12 months or does not need their own seat, please bring them if you would like!
The ceremony will start at 4, but doors will open around 3:30! There is no need to arrive that early, but you are more than welcome to take a seat as you wait- though please wait to seek out the bride and groom for "hellos" until after the ceremony.
We have allocated funds for a glass of wine, seltzer, or beer on us! There is indeed a bar that will provide the option to purchase any other beverages to your enjoyment. If you are not staying locally, please drive safely and drink responsibly! For those of you coming from lower altitude, your body will respond differently to alcohol than you may be used to; stay hydrated!
That depends on how long you are in town! Windsor has several perks as it is closest to the venue and there are multiple areas within a 45 minute radius to explore Colorado. However, if you are wanting to see a bit more of scenic Colorado, we would recommend staying somewhere nearby but closer to the mountains. Fort Collins and Loveland have several places to stay and is close to both wedding events and things to do in the area. Downtown Denver is also just over an hour from the venue which offers an array of activities for your stay.
Our hope is for you to be comfortable, though semi-formal/formal may provide helpful direction. You may want to bring or wear shoes that are comfortable to dance in!! If more specification is helpful, cocktail/floor length dresses or a button up and slacks are always a safe bet!
Ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and dessert/dancing will all be indoors. However, weather permitting, there is space outdoors to meander during cocktail hour and a lawn area for some games and lounging.
The venue supplies plentiful parking! There are plenty of spots right outside the entrance along the street, a parking lot around the back of the building, and a church behind the venue's lot that kindly allows overflow parking to use their space.
Post ceremony, the immediate family of Marcus and Sarah along with the bridal party will briefly leave the venue to take pictures off-site. However, drinks and appetizers will be served while we are away! Following cocktail hour we will all eat dinner together, hear some speeches, and then get to dancing around 8pm! We must be finished by 10pm due to a neighborhood noise ordinance, but if you cannot stay that late-- no pressure or hard feelings!
We will be serving an array of appetizers during cocktail hour. At dinner, there will be authentic, home-cooked Mexican food including fajitas and miscellaneous sides. If you have dietary restrictions, there is a portion during your RSVP where those can be disclosed and we will accommodate them. If you forgot or missed that part, please reach out to either Marcus or Sarah and we will be sure to take note of those!
