What is the theme of the wedding?

Answer

In true Sally-fashion, the theme is book-related. Based on the "A Court of Thorns and Roses" series, the wedding will be fae (fairy) garden themed. Think an outdoor party in the Summer Court (for those who know). Lots of bold summer colors, flowers, twinkle lights, and open, fresh air.

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Yes (and no). The ceremony will be performed outdoors (weather permitting). We will then move to a half enclosed pavilion for the reception. There are fans in the pavilion to help with the heat. We will be providing small handheld fans and bug spray to contend with the elements.

Are children allowed at this event?

Answer

Our wedding will be a small, intimate ceremony. We would like for our adult guests to enjoy their time with the bride and groom. Thank you.

What should I wear?

Answer

This wedding will not be super formal (no tuxedos or ball gowns). We would encourage suits and floral, elegant dresses. Wear what makes you comfortable.

Will food be provided?

Answer

Yes, a full dinner will be provided. We will also offer champagne, beer, non-alcoholic drinks, and water. And, of course, cake!

Will there be animals there?

Answer

Yes, our wedding venue is on a local farm that includes cows, horses, and other livestock. For the sake of the owner and the animals, we politely ask that you avoid the animals by staying out of their enclosures while visiting the venue.
