Unfortunately not because of COVID limitations set by the state of Washington. We can’t host everyone we originally planned to, so a virtual streaming of the wedding is how we are able to include everyone.
We will have the ceremony and then the first dance over Zoom. A few days prior to the wedding, a link will be posted on this website. The day of the wedding, a camera will be set up to stream the ceremony live as well as certain parts of the reception. We will be able to see your comments later, but won’t be able to see, hear, or interact with you during the streaming.
Of course not! You are more than welcome to book your own lodging elsewhere, just please research the time and distance for commuting. The resort is 1.5 hours away from Seattle, and the nearest town (Enumclaw) is 40 miles with limited lodging.
You can get a rental car through the airport. Please let us know if you need assistance with transportation.
We have plans to move back abroad after the wedding and cannot take all of our belongings with us. We have set up the travel cash registry as one option, but gift cards would also be acceptable.
Yes! We want you all there to celebrate as friends and family. However, please be aware that a gondola is the only way up to the ceremony, so children afraid of heights might be uncomfortable on the ride up. The ceremony is also atop a mountain, so it will be unsafe for children to run around unsupervised. Also, the bride & groom will have spent a lot of money (and time) on the first dance during the ceremony, and there will be special effects such as dry ice clouds and light projectors, and we politely ask your children to refrain from playing with or interrupting the dance floor so the first dance can be a magical memory for the bride and groom.
