Three years later, countless memories, and becoming mom and dad to two cats (Stanley and Tails), Marcus finally bought a rock. After meticulous calculation and careful planning, Erin and Marcus went on a rock climbing trip to Holy Boulders in Southern Illinois where he proposed on June 8th, 2024 under the Death Star (a bouldering route, also a V0). How could Erin say no?! Erin left the trip not with the biggest rock climbed, but definitely her favorite. After all that, it was decided they would be married on an 8th of the month… so August 8th 2026 it is!!
