When I was little I asked my parents for a little brother and instead, they gave me this guy. But it worked out! He has always been around, and now that we got older we become best friends. Whenever we hang out we have a great time and on occasions not so great but we always know it's going to be a memorable moment. No matter what I will always love this guy. Eduardo aka Lalo is always the life of the party, however, if you see him at the wedding please, keep him away from the DJ he is notorious for selecting baby-making music at parties. Lol

Maid of Honor
Yaya, technically she is my cousin but more like a sister. We have been through all life-changing events together. From coming to the U.S. together back in the 90s to getting kicked out for the first time together from a bar. My fault! Claudia has been a blessing in disguise, I can say through thick or thin she is always there. She is an amazing human being and I can not be more proud of her. So of course I had to ask her to be by my side as my MoH.
Isaac Ruiz

Well, what can I say about Isaac? I met him through Mayra in the early stages of our relationship. I think my favorite memory with him was the first party we attended, it was his party. He got me kicked out of his party because he gave Cristian and me the ok to do a keg stand (before COVID). Lol. But Isaac has been a good friend in the short period that I have known him. Whenever I see him, it always feels like I have known him for years. Plus he always slides into my DM's "wink-wink"... Don't be scared by his serious demeanor he is the guy that will bring the calm and collective vibes but we start the party who knows?!
Natalia Ruiz
Bridesmaid
My oh, my oh, my oh, my oh, my boo... Natalie and I met back in 2013 maybe even earlier than that. I picked up a second job and started working with Natalia at Sbux, that's when our friendships developed. During our shifts, we got to know each other more and realized we had similar goals and aspirations. We would talk about school, work, people, Isaac -_- ( lol jk), and eventually Marcos. It is in Natalia's nature to be so caring, and loving. She is easy to talk to, she is cheerful, and likes to socialize. She is always willing to bring a positive outlook to any situation. I am grateful she is part of the bridesmaids. At the wedding, you might see her singing to every music genre you can think of or talking to our family and friends. Don't be tricked by her calm and collective demeanor she is probably a couple shots in already.
Cristian Piceno
Groomsman
So Cristian, for those that do not know this is Mayra's younger brother. I had met him when Mayra and I first started dating. But didn't get to know him until we started working together. Since then I have seen this guy grow up and become one of my good friends. And the scary part about this is that he and my brother have similar personalities... so you know we are up to no good when we are all together. Cristian is always a WILD card, at the wedding you might see him thinking about the right words to say, and another second he might be doing shotguns with Mayra and me.

Bridesmaid
I met Andrea at good old Romano's Macaroni Grill, lol. Andrea had transferred from AZ to CA for her promotion. It wasn't until we stopped working together that we hunkered down our friendships. I have so many memories with her, from chaotic thanksgiving shifts at Mac Grill to camping. But I have to say one of my top memories has to be when we went camping. Sitting around the campfire, sipping on mulled wine, correction chugging mulled wine. Andrea always gives 100% on everything. I am thankful she said yes to being my bridesmaid. She is also the type of person that tries to include everyone, so don't be surprised if you see her practicing her Spanish with our family and friends.

Nicolas, or aka Nico is a future lady killer, so watch out! What can I say about my nephew? He has been joy to have around and seeing him grow up, he brings so much happiness in all of our lives. Still amazed of how talented and smart he is! Showing interest in different sports. It's looking like he might be a pro hockey player one day but don't tell his dad. He means a lot to me so I couldn't give him the job of the ring barer, I need my little buddy to be up there by side. He has great leadership skills and is a very honest kid, so don't be surprise if he his calls you out on things or asks something of you.
Tania Rodriguez
Jr. Bridesmaid
Tania came into my life when I was in my 20's, so when we would go on sister dates everyone thought she was my daughter. One of my favorite memory with her is when we went on our coffee date at Starbucks (Sbux). Tania was wearing a paper BK crown, she walked in with confidence to the register towards Natalia. I order for the both of us and then she states to Natalia " I'm a queen" she flips her one pigtail with such a pizzazz. Natalia and I look at each other and just start laughing. Tania was 5 yrs. old at the time, that's when I learned there will be no stopping her. Tania is a very joyful, confident and a social butterfly so of course I had to ask her to bring that energy and pizzazz as my Jr. Bridesmaid. You will see her trying to help in any way she can, and making sure I'm picture ready.
Jose Gonzalez
Officiant
Jose & Mayra met in elementary school as you can imagine, they been through it all together. Mayra has always had a love-hate relationship with him mostly because she gets overwhelmed by his need to show affection (he is a hugger). When Mayra introduced Jose to Marcos, it was like they had known each other for years. Today Marcos also has a love-hate relationship with Jose because it is never a "one drink" or "just dinner" with him. When they all hang out they always have a good time, by the end of the night, Mayra & Marcos lose Jose (good thing they aren't parents). When it was time to decide if Jose was going to be a groomsman or bridesman, it was difficult for both. To avoid sides they both felt it was right for him to be their officiant, Jose has always been supportive & caring about their relationship, the fact that he is bilingual and charismatic was just a bonus!
