Things To Do

Deep Creek has become a cherished part of our journey together since Alex purchased our cabin in 2020. While we love sharing it through AirBnB, it’s also our special retreat where we indulge in our passions—exploring nature, hiking, boating, fishing, and savoring delicious meals. If your personal and work life allows you to stay an extra day, we hope you can enjoy some of our favorite local spots - see below! Fun fact: Alex proposed to Marissa in Deep Creek on April 13, 2024.

One of our favorite restaurants off the beaten path. Highly recommend the Steyer Old Fashion (smoked) and the Smokehouse Nachos!

Firewater Kitchen & Bar

Another favorite of ours - this is the perfect restaurant with a view of the lake! Please note that they get very busy during the summer and wait-time is usually up to 2 hours long if you get there any time after 6:00pm!

Brenda's Pizzeria

Deep Creek Lake - Lake

Please check out the website for more information on "Things to Do" at Deep Creek if you plan to stay longer or have more time during the weekend! The lake is beautiful and there is always the option to rent a boat or schedule a boat tour! You can also find additional vacation rental/lodging on this website.

Deep Creek Lake State Park

Enjoy the beautiful scenery and hiking trails at Deep Creek Lake State Park. We love hiking with our dog Mack on this trail and it's the trail where Alex proposed!
