When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Once you receive the our formal wedding invitation, please RSVP a month (4 weeks) prior to our wedding on June 21, 2025.
Question
Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We have room blocks at the Suites at Silver Tree. Other hotels nearby include The Garrett Inn, Will O' the Wisp Condominiums, The Lodge at Wisp, and many AirBnBs/rental houses/cabins you can rent for your party or other family and friends attending the wedding. We recommend researching the Red Barn Vacations website, Deep Creek Lake website, or AirBnB app for other places to stay. Please note that it is the 100th Anniversary of Deep Creek this same weekend.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
We will be providing a shuttle service that will transport guests to and from their hotels and lodging. In your formal invitation a RSVP shuttle card was provided for guests to fill out and mail back to us. You can also complete the RSVP for the shuttle on our wedding website under the RSVP section. Please note that it's the 100th Anniversary of Deep Creek the same weekend, so it will be very busy. We will have the shuttle service completing pick-ups early prior to the 4:00pm ceremony.

Is there a dress code?

Full transparency - the weather at Deep Creek is very unpredictable! It is normally 10 degrees cooler around the lake, however, this is a summer wedding, so please be prepared for full sun, rain, and a light sweater or jacket for night time.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We're excited to celebrate with our loved ones, and we understand that family is important to all of you! To keep our celebration intimate and relaxed, we kindly ask that only children specifically named on the formal wedding invitation are included in your RSVP. Thank you for understanding and we look forward to celebrating together!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We're so grateful to celebrate this day with the people closest to us! To keep our gathering intimate, we kindly ask that only guests whose invitations specify a "plus one" bring a guest. Thank you for helping us create a meaningful celebration!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there will be a valet attendant as soon as you drive onto the venue site.
Question
Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
We are encouraging everyone to attend the Honi Honi Bar the night before the wedding on Friday, June 20, 2025 at approximately 8:00pm for "welcome drinks."

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Of course. Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can discuss this with our caterer in advance.
